Anything Goes is a musical "comedy of errors" that takes place on the S.S. American, an ocean liner traveling from New York to London.
The story centers around Billy Crocker, a Wall Street broker who stows away on the ship to be near his love, Hope Harcourt, only to find out Hope is already engaged to a wealthy Englishman, Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. The story also follows the hilarious shenanigans of Public Enemy #13 "Moonface" Martin and beautiful nightclub singer Reno Sweeney and her Angels backup dancers.
